About the Position:
Leading Polish contractors specializing in innovative engineering solutions within the civil engineering sector are seeking Electrician Assistant Operatives to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in electrical work, as no prior experience is required. The position involves working at various properties across Poland, where you will receive full training in Electrical Installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified Electricians with a variety of electrical repairs and installation tasks.
- Perform duties such as cutting, stripping, and bending electrical wires.
- Trace short circuits using a test meter and check for loose connections or missing insulation, making necessary repairs under supervision.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently, following electrical codes and standards.
- Understand and interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in repair and maintenance tasks. Requirements:
- Some experience in electrical work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- A good command of English, both oral and written, is required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical codes is beneficial.
- Ability to understand and follow schematics and technical manuals.
- A good level of general health is necessary for the physical aspects of the job.
- Confident, friendly, and willing to work overtime when needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: 4500-5000 PLN (approximately $950-$1000).
- Work Schedule: Day shifts; 9-10 hours per day, six days a week.
- Accommodation: Hostel-like rooms for 2-3 people provided by the employer; utility fees are covered by the employee.
