About the Position:
Leading Polish contractors, renowned for delivering innovative engineering solutions within the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join their skilled team. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of electrical work required across various sites, contributing to both new construction projects and ongoing maintenance. As an Electrician with our team, you will be responsible for a wide range of electrical tasks, ensuring the safety and functionality of all installations.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be tasked with a variety of duties, reflecting the diverse nature of the projects we undertake:
- Electrical Repairs and Maintenance: You will manage day-to-day electrical repairs across different units, ensuring all systems are operational and meet safety standards.
- New Building Electrical Installations: You will be responsible for the full electrical connection of new buildings, from planning to execution, ensuring that all wiring and systems are installed correctly and efficiently.
- Periodic Electrical Checks: You will conduct annual and periodic electrical inspections on existing installations. These checks are crucial for issuing safety certificates and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Additional Duties: You may also be required to undertake any other electrical work that arises during the course of providing our services. This could include emergency repairs, upgrades, and modifications as needed.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Level G1 Certification: You must hold a certification as an Installation Electrician and Maintenance Electrician at Level G1. This qualification is essential for performing the duties required in this role.
- Language Skills: A good command of English, both oral and written, is necessary to understand technical manuals, communicate with the team, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Physical Health: A good level of general health is required, as the role involves physical tasks that can be demanding.
- Availability: You should be willing to work overtime when required, particularly during peak periods or when project deadlines need to be met.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: The position offers a competitive salary of 6500-7000 PLN (approximately $1400-$1500), reflecting the skills and experience required.
- Work Schedule: The work schedule is structured with day shifts, typically lasting 9- 10 hours per day, six days a week. This schedule ensures that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
- Accommodation: To support your transition to this role, the employer provides hostel-like accommodation with rooms shared between 2-3 people. While the accommodation is provided at no cost, utility fees are the responsibility of the employee.
