Types of Croatia Visas: A Guide for Foreign Nationals
Croatia offers several types of visas for foreign nationals, depending on the purpose and duration of their stay.
Tourist Visa
The Croatia Tourist Visa is a short-stay visa for those visiting the country for tourism, medical treatment, business, or other short-term travel purposes. This visa allows the holder to stay in Croatia for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. These visas can be issued for single, double, or multiple entries, depending on how often you plan to enter and leave the country. Several non-EU nationals are exempt from needing a visa for short stays. Since Croatia is part of the Schengen Area, the visa rules are similar to other Schengen countries.
Business Visa
The Croatia Business Visa is also a short-stay visa, allowing the holder to attend business meetings, conferences, or other professional activities for up to 90 days. However, it does not permit working in Croatia.
Long-stay Visas
For stays longer than 90 days, foreign nationals need a long-stay visa combined with a temporary residence permit. The most common types of long-stay visas include:

- Digital Nomad Visa: Launched in 2021, this visa is designed for remote workers who wish to live in Croatia while continuing to work for an employer or clients abroad.
